Managing suppliers effectively is one of the foundations of being able to do well in business. The supply side is a very important part of your business, with at least 1 supplier for every order information (even if you are the final supplier of the goods yourself), recording the supplier information with the system will be very helpful for our ability to take orders and scale up our business. When starting the initialization process with BookingMeta, we recommend setting up your supplier information as a priority.

Create your suppliers

You can manage your supplier's basic information such as supplier name, contact person, contact email and other contact information here when you are interfacing with suppliers. For more information, please see：Supplier Creation Details.

There are various ways to interface with suppliers in your business. BookingMeta system is designed to take into account the complexity of business interfacing and provides a variety of interfacing methods to meet the interfacing needs of your different suppliers, including：

 

Interfacing with suppliers using APIs

If your supplier has its own system, BookingMeta can connect to the supplier's system through APIs.
  • Accessed APIs: BookingMeta already supports APIs of some suppliers' systems, please refer to the detailed API list and access guide: Supplier API Settings.
  • APIs that need new access: If you need to access new systems to meet your business needs, BookingMeta can also support you to realize API development. The specific process is as follows：
    • Contact BookingMeta's BD, who will initially understand your requirements and supplier information. If you are not sure who to contact,please send an email to sales@bookingmeta.com
    • Provide the supplier's API documentation (if available) to BookingMeta to design the solution and evaluate the work time.
    • BookingMeta's technical team will give you a specific time schedule and cost after the evaluation is completed.

 

Financial settlement with suppliers

You have so many orders per month and goods are purchased from multiple suppliers, BookingMeta can help you manage your settlement information with each supplier efficiently.

Usually you have several settlement methods with your suppliers, such as monthly settlement, prepaid, pay-as-you-go, etc. You can set the settlement method, settlement period, settlement time, etc. for your suppliers. For more information.

Being a supplier of your own service resources

If your company has a driver/vehicle resource that provides services directly to tourists, it can either be packaged and sold with other goods such as day trip tickets, adding car services to the original goods, or packaged independently as car goods to agents for distribution. You need to：
  1. Create a supplier that represents your own service resources.
  2. Create the corresponding service resource for this supplier.
  3. Once you receive an order, you can assign the service resource to serve the order through the dispatch function.
