For companies that sell primarily on a B2B (Business-to-Business) basis, our next step is to configure agents.
Note: It takes about 2 minutes to read this article.
Configuring agents takes three steps:
Create an agent
We support both offline and online distribution channels, and in this quick start phase, we are trying to create an agent in a short period of time. Let's create an offline distribution channel as an example.
Agent -> Agent List -> New Reseller. Select the offline distribution channel.
Note: Of course, our system requires a variety of online distribution channels to promote and attract traffic for us to expand our consumer base. Please see details about the online distribution channel connecting process in: Online distribution channel connecting list and process.
Basic Information
Here you can fill in the Reseller Name and the Settlement Currency with the agent. After filling in the name, it will be applied to the whole system, including the information in the back-end orders, the confirmation letters, etc. You can also modify it after setting. The settlement currency will be used to settle with the agent after the order is completed. When we click Save, it generates an agent and you can see the record in the list.
Note:Do not exit or close the current page.
-
Reseller Name: The name of the agent, a title to identify the agent easily in daily operation.
-
Settlement Currency: The currency used in settlement with the agent. The settlement currency cannot be modified again after setting. If there are multiple currencies for settlement with the same agent, you need to set up separate distribution accounts for the agent in different currencies.
Create a credit account
The system supports two types of account opening: "Credit Account" and "Deposit Account". When we finish the previous step, we can quickly open a credit accountin the "Settlement" tab. This will allow you to quickly pay for your order and get it into our system during the next step: simulation of agent order-placing process.
Note: You can also open two kinds of accounts in credit management, detailed steps can be found in: Credit accountand deposit account. The agents can also use online payment channels to make payments.
Create a master account
When we finish creating an agent, we will see this agent in the list. The next step is to create a master account for the agent so that the agent can login to our front-end portal to place orders for the corresponding products.
Note: After creating the agent and the master account, we need to know where the agent goes to place orders: Front-end portal.
