7.FAQ
1. Preparation
As a Booking Meta owner, please first contact Booking Meta’s Client Success team at support@bookingmeta.com to submit your Global Tix API integration request.
At the same time, reach out to your Global Tix business contact to discuss the commercial arrangement and apply for API integration access. Once approved, Global Tix will provide you with a User ID(Reseller ID (aka x-agent ID)) 、Reseller Name、Username and Secret Key(API Key) for the API integration. Please keep these credentials safe.
To streamline the technical setup, we recommend creating a group chat that includes Global Tix, Booking Meta, and your team.
2.Create a Global Tix Supplier in Booking Meta
In the Booking Meta system, go to [Supplier] > [Supplier List] and click [+ New Supplier] to create a new supplier. The settlement currency you select during supplier creation must match your actual settlement currency. If the currency does not match, the configuration will fail and you will need to recreate the supplier. For detailed instructions, see: Step 1: Create a Supplier.
Once the supplier is created, the system will generate a unique ’Supplier ID’. Please take note of this ID — you will need it in the next step.
3.Provide the Required Configuration Details to Booking Meta
After completing the first two steps, please email the following information to support@bookingmeta.com and copy weiyuan.yang@bookingmeta.com:
- Reseller ID (aka x-agent ID):
- Reseller Name:
- Username:
- API Key: obtained from Global Tix
- The Supplier ID generated in the Booking Meta system
4.Booking Meta Technical Team Completes the API Configuration
Once you have sent the email, please notify our Client Success team in your dedicated service group chat. Booking Meta’s technical team will then proceed with the API configuration. This typically takes 3 to 7 working days. We will keep you updated on the progress in the group chat. While you wait, you may proceed with the next step.
5.Complete Product Mapping in Booking Meta to Enable Order Integration
5.1 Create the products you intend to purchase
While waiting for the API configuration to be completed, you can start creating the products you plan to sell in the system. For step-by-step instructions, please refer to the Product Creation Guide.
5.2 Browse and select Global Tix products
Once the API configuration is confirmed, you can view and search the product list provided by Global Tix. In the Booking Meta system, go to[ Supplier] > [Supplier API ], select the Global Tix icon, and you will be able to browse and search the available products.
On the [Option List] page, search for the product to view its detailed pricing and inventory information, and obtain the corresponding Mapping ID.
5.3 Smart Mapping — Build Your Product Catalogue
On the product edit page you created, locate the [Supplier SKU ID] field. Enter the Mapping ID obtained from Global Tix in the previous step, and make sure the "Automatically order to the supplier" option is checked. Save and publish the product.
Once this is done, whenever a new order is placed in your Booking Meta system, Booking Meta will automatically purchase from Global Tix and sync Global Tix's ticketing results — no manual action required, and your revenue is generated automatically.
5.4 [Advanced] Mix and Match — Build Exclusive Packages
You are not limited to selling Global Tix products individually. You can leverage your own operational strategy to combine multiple products or variants into unique, competitive packages and resell them, meeting diverse customer needs and increasing the average order value. For SKU mapping logic, please refer to the rules below (adjust according to the actual rules confirmed with Global Tix):

6. Product Information Consistency Guidelines
When integrating with the Global Tix API, you must follow Global Tix's product booking rules. If the settings in your Booking Meta system are inconsistent with Global Tix, it may lead to order failures or missing information.
6.1 Keep booking configuration consistent
Click [Booking Configuration] to see the booking details of a Global Tix product. The corresponding product in your Booking Meta system must be configured consistently with Global Tix.
6.2 Keep pricing consistent
In the system, you can click the [Check inventory ]button to view Global Tix's B2B distribution price — i.e., the settlement price between you and Global Tix. Please confirm with your Global Tix business contact whether this price is accurate. If it is, set it as the correct purchase price in your Booking Meta system.
Note: The Settlement Cost Price shown in the calendar is the settlement price between you and Global Tix. The Recommended Selling Price is Global Tix's suggested retail price. Please pay close attention to the sales policy for products with price restrictions.
6.3 Inventory is subject to Global Tix
Once you are connected to the Global Tix API, we recommend setting the corresponding SKU in Booking Meta to unlimited inventory. When an order is generated, it will always use Global Tix's real-time inventory as the standard. If inventory is insufficient, the order will fail.
For orders that fail with Global Tix, the API failure reason will be displayed in the order management list. You can disconnect the failed order from the API and switch to another supplier for purchasing and ticketing.
6.4 [Voucher Type] in Package Management
For products configured with the Global Tix supplier API, the [Voucher Type] on the Package Information page must be set to "Upload voucher per order". If Global Tix provides a confirmation voucher image, please select "Upload voucher per order".
