Due to different business scenarios and demands, the same product is named differently in you and your suppliers. For example, your local Thai supplier can read Thai and not English, and you can only use English product names in order to sell your products to foreigners. Then you can use the English name when creating the product, and in the SKU settings, define the supplier's product name in Thai, so that your customers or agents see the product name you named in English, while the supplier sees the product name defined in Thai, the correspondence between the English product name and the Thai product name is managed by you in BookingMeta, and it is easier for everyone to understand the product and avoid mistakes when trading.
You will be asked to enter the supplier's product name after selecting the supplier when creating the SKU of the product. You can also edit this information in Product->Package Information->SKU->Edit.
After the product is created or edited, if the order is placed by email to the supplier, the product name in the supplier confirmation sent by email should be the name filled in here.
If you are going to the supplier's website to place an order to purchase goods, you can check the product name in the supplier's confirmation as a memo to the supplier's product name when you place an order to avoid placing it wrong.
If you have API access to the supplier side, the product identification identified by the system is the product ID instead of the product name. You need to enter the product ID defined by the system binding to supplier side when creating the product in BookingMeta (please contact the supplier for the specific product and ID correspondence table), for the products created in this way, BookingMeta will notify the supplier's system through API when there is a new order for the product with this ID to be processed.
